For drivers who ride with dogs and cats, big and small. SwitchMate covers your window and lock switches, to help prevent lockouts at the fuel island and window roll-downs in the yard. GEN 3 closes with a magnetic lid and goes on with no tape, no drills and no mods.

It only takes one paw.
Every driver who rides with a pet has a story like these. SwitchMate exists so you don't have to add yours.
Locked out at the fuel island
You step out to pump. The dog steps on the lock. Now you're looking through the glass at your keys, your phone and a very happy pup.
→ The lock switch stays covered.Window down in the terminal yard
One Cascadia driver's cane corso and Rottweiler got out in a terminal yard. "Since installation I have not worried once." — Grant P.
→ The magnetic lid stays shut. The little one on the sill
Lap dogs climb up to look out. A window that rolls down under their paws is a window they can fall out of.
→ Helps keep windows where you left them. Before & after.
Same cab. Different outcome.

THE OLD HACKS
We've seen every fix in the truck stop lot.
Every driver with a dog in the cab has been there. You step out for fuel, come back, and the window's halfway down with a nose sticking out of it. So we get creative.
A lot of drivers grab an empty Altoid tin, cut the bottom out, and stick it to the switch module with double-sided tape — or just set the whole tin over the switches and hope it stays. Others take a plastic butter dish, tape it to the door panel, and run a strip of duct tape across the top so the tape works like a hinge. Flip it up, hit the switch, flip it back down. Pretty clever for a Tuesday night at a rest area.
The DIY fixes we hear about most
- The Altoid tin — cut the bottom out, double-sided tape it to the switch module, or just pop the whole tin over the switches and hope it stays put.
- The butter dish hinge — dish on the panel, duct tape over the top as a hinge.
- The cut-up water bottle — trimmed down and zip-tied or taped in place.
- The folded cardboard guard — free, fast, and gone by next week.
- The towel over the armrest — works great until the dog lies on it.
Where they fall apart
- Summer heat eats the tape. A hot cab in July turns adhesive to goo, and your hinge peels right off the panel.
- They're big enough to grab. A dog can get a claw under a bulky dish or tin and rip the whole thing off.
- The tin slides. One hard brake or one curious paw and it's on the floorboard — switch wide open.
- Tape gunk on the switch module. That double-sided tape doesn't come off clean — sticky residue sits right on the switches.
- Sharp cut edges. Cut the bottom out of a tin and you've got metal edges that can slice a finger when you're reaching for the switch.
- Sticky residue everywhere. Pull the tape and you're scrubbing gunk out of your door panel for an hour.
- It looks like a hack. Because it is one. Not great when you're proud of your rig.
- You still fumble for the switch. Lift, hold, find the button, close it back — every single time.
“The only thing Altoid tins are good for is holding your breath mints.”
The real fix.
That's why we built SwitchMate. It's a magnetic cover made for your truck's window switches. It installs right on the switch module with no tape, and the magnetic lid sits low and flush so there's nothing for paws or claws to grab. Looks like it came from the factory. Flip it open, flip it shut. The cab stays safe and your windows stay up.
Keep the tins for the mints.
